Website & Traffic
Siteground is my #1 choice for domain name and website hosting. It’s affordable, has raving customer reviews and great customer service that operates 24/7. Yep, you can call them at 2am, like I’ve done, and they won’t be pissed.
Elementor is a front-end WordPress page builder plugin that replaces the WordPress editor. I’ve used other page builders and I this is the BEST website builder, hands down. It’s free to download and you can certainly build a website with the free version but the premium plugin is a must-have upgrade that offers more functionality, which cuts down on needing a ton of other plugins.
I got serious with email marketing when I upgraded to Convert Kit (from Mailchimp). It allows you to create email funnels, sequences and automations that make running a blog a whole lot easier.
LeadPages allows you to easily create powerful, effective landing pages and sales pages. It’s also perfect for sharing content upgrades and comes with a handy wordpress plugin.
GeneratePress is a fast, lightweight WordPress theme that works perfectly with Elementor’s page builder. This is the theme I use and the only one I recommend.
Freshbooks is a cloud-based, small business accounting software offering invoicing, expense and time tracking, reports and other features to keep you
on top of your business finances.
